One quiet night, Luna, a little girl who loved stargazing, noticed something strange. One of the stars in the sky was… moving!
She grabbed her telescope and looked closer. To her surprise, the star wasn’t just moving—it had legs! It hopped from one spot to another, wiggling like it had a dance routine.
“Hey, you sneaky star!” Luna called out. “What are you doing up there?”
The star froze, then zipped down from the sky and landed right in her backyard. It was tiny, no bigger than a tennis ball, and it glowed softly like a nightlight.
“I’m Spark,” the star said in a squeaky voice. “I got bored sitting in the sky all day, so I came down to explore. Can you show me around?”
The Adventure
Luna smiled and said, “Let’s go!”
First, she showed Spark her favorite hiding spot in the garden, under the big oak tree. Spark wiggled with excitement and climbed the tree, glowing brightly in the branches.
Next, they went to the kitchen, where Luna made a tiny “star sandwich” with glittery sprinkles. “Stars don’t eat, but I’ll try it anyway!” Spark said, pretending to munch.
Finally, they built a pillow fort in Luna’s bedroom. Spark lit it up like a lantern, making the fort feel magical.
Back to the Sky
As the night went on, Spark started to dim. “I need to go back soon,” he said, yawning.
“Will I ever see you again?” Luna asked, a little sad.
“Of course!” Spark said. “Just look for the star that dances.”
With a hop and a twirl, Spark flew back into the sky, taking his place among the other stars. That night, as Luna drifted off to sleep, she saw one little star wiggling happily in the sky.
