The Starlight Blanket

Once upon a time, in a small cottage nestled at the edge of a quiet forest, there lived a little girl named Luna and her grandmother, who everyone in the village called Nana Rose. Luna loved nothing more than listening to her grandmother’s stories, especially on cold winter nights when the wind whispered through the pine trees.

One particularly chilly evening, as snowflakes danced outside the frosted window, Nana Rose sat in her favorite rocking chair and pulled out an old, soft blanket. Its fabric was a deep midnight blue, sprinkled with tiny silver threads that seemed to shimmer like stars.

Luna snuggled closer, her eyes wide with wonder.
